A Message from Campaign Leadership
UT Southwestern Medical Center's extraordinary journey began nearly 70 years ago, when a group of local business leaders and physicians established a small medical college in Dallas. Founded on a pioneering spirit that makes the North Texas region so distinctive, today's UT Southwestern is one of the top academic medical centers in the world—a premier educational, clinical, and research institution with a cutting-edge approach to medicine.
But our journey is not complete.
To become an academic medical center that is second to none in all regards, UT Southwestern must be able to provide comprehensive patient care in a setting that is as innovative as the scientific discoveries the University is known for around the world. A new hospital is critically needed to complement University Hospital—Zale Lipshy and replace the aging University Hospital—St. Paul building. This new hospital will enable us not only to bring state-of-the-art care to patients, but also to train the next generation of doctors who will serve our region for years to come.
Please join us as partners in Building the Future of Medicine. We seek to raise $200 million in private gifts to complete construction of the new hospital. Your support will help us transform medical care in North Texas.
